Wednesday 25th December, 2019

The Office of the National Chief Imam and Grand Mufti of the Republic of Ghana (ONCI) wishes all followers of Christianity religion and all the faithfuls of Jesus Christ around the World Merry Christmas 2019.

His Eminence the National Chief Imam and Grand Mufti of the Republic of Ghana, Sheikh Professor Osman Nuhu Sharubutu has asked me to extend his special messages to all the Christian brethren around the World.

His Eminence indicates that “Christmas season reminds us of the period in which one of the Bests of Creation, one of the Special Prophets and Messengers of Allah and One of the Unique Personalities to have ever lived was born.

This season presents us with many opportunities; one of which is an opportunity to repent and give our lives to the Almighty Allah in reflection to the teachings and guidance of Jesus Christ whose life and actions continue to impact on the lives of over 2billion people around the World.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish our Ghanaian Christian brethren a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year in advance.

We pray to Allah to continue to guide our actions and influence our decisions to do the right thing as it pleases Him”.

His Eminence further prays to Allah to strengthen and cement the relationship between all the followers of the three Abrahamic Religions on Earth and to bless our efforts to attain World Peace, Harmony and Prosperity for all God's creations in the spirit of Peaceful Interfaith relations.
